Is Kenko cameras were made and owned by Canon in 2026 ?? I am using the ZoomBrowser EX tool for windows 10, and i think know about the cameras were made by Canon. Thanks you for help.
You can't open ZB thumbnail files in order to get at your photos. ZB thumbnail files are very small files used by ZoomBrowser to grade the thumbnails for your photos.
When I try to open a program and I get a message: "ZoomBrowser EX is currently opened by a different user. You will have to Switch Users and close ZoomBrowser EX, before continuing.". I have an installed older version of ZoomBrowser EX but is not supported with Windows 8. Any solution to this problem?

Try right-clicking on it > Run as Admin.
Insert the Canon Digital Camera Solution Disk and found the Troubleshooting section of the PDF manual relating to error messages database. Go through their suggestions exactly (it involves uninstalling etc and installing).
When I'm trying to rename a picture in ZoomBrowser, I get the "Access is denied. Please check access permissions and ensure that the file is not in use" message. I don't know what to do. Can you help?

In order to fix the issue, press the Alt + Ctrl + Delete key combination, open the Task Manager and close all the programs (photo viewers, cataloging tools) that may use your pictures. If it doesn't work, right-click on the file you want to rename, select Properties and click the Security tab. Press the Edit button, check all the boxes bellow the Allow option and click OK. If the problem persists, try to temporarily disable your antivirus program and launch the program using the Run as Administrator option.
I have had Zoom Browser EX for years. Re-installed it to a new computer, Windows 8 (64bit), but there is no camera (SX520) recognition or downloading photos into the program now. Do I need to update the program?

Yes, you will need a product update for ZoomBrowser EX, but unfortunately, the official website doesn't offer any possibility to update it for Windows 8. You can check the available downloads for this product on the Support page provided by Canon.
Till recently it worked fine. Now, when I click on its icon there is a message saying "Unclassed". I can't open the application. Can you help?

If you use Windows XP or below you can go to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. In the Currently installed programs box, click on the ZoomBrowser EX program and then click Remove. If you have Windows Vista or above you need to go to Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features. Select the ZoomBrowser EX application and click on Uninstall.
After that, go to Canon Support page, identify your camera model, select your operating system if it is not automatically detected and download and install the latest version of the application. This should fix the issue.
When I send an email with images, I can only select one image or go to "Select All" to do multiple selections. On my older version, I could choose the images by simply clicking on them. Now it just highlights (selects) one of them. What can I do?
